When Time Stands Still

Book cover titled 'When Time Stands Still' with a background of water and sky, featuring a key, butterfly, dove, and flowers.

When Time Stands Still is a collection of poetry and reflections born from experiences of birth, loss, love, healing, and spiritual transformation.

Spanning more than twenty-five years of Rose Pearce’s life, these poems and stories trace a deeply personal journey through motherhood, grief, family, nature, travel, and the unseen mysteries that shape us. Written across seasons of joy and sorrow, they explore the tender places where heartbreak and beauty often meet, inviting readers into a landscape of remembrance, resilience, and connection.

After the stillbirths of her children Noah and Ambrance, Rose began writing as a way to make sense of loss and remain connected to the moments of grace, love, and meaning that continued to appear amidst grief. What emerged over time is a collection that speaks not only to personal loss, but to the universal human experiences of longing, healing, hope, and belonging.

Accompanied by luminous artwork by Linda Mummery, When Time Stands Still explores the sacred threads that weave through birth and death, sorrow and joy, earth and spirit. It offers companionship for those navigating grief, life transitions, or the search for deeper meaning, while celebrating the enduring connections that continue to guide and sustain us.

Gentle, reflective, and heartfelt, this book is an invitation to pause, listen deeply, and remember that even in our darkest seasons, love remains present.
